After several traumatizing experiences early in Jacqui Ruiz’s life, she began to learn new ways of dealing with her emotions. The emotion that impacted her most was Grief and that is what she decided to center this workshop around. Grief is a difficult emotion because it can be so lonely.

In fact, it is normal to feel alone and helpless when in times of serious grief. This can lead to long-term depression and even suicide in some cases. But rather than resisting and bottling up our emotions, we need to express and move through our emotions. What we resist persists.
